2005-01-09 CAS promotion in the town of Jinli, about one hour from Zhaoqing + Christmas Card game for final time this Christmastide....played as never before, in foyer of the Ming Liang Hotel:
Unforgettable experience....this day in the Chinese calendar was "a good day to get married" so ...wedding cars and couples were to be seen everywhere....and in the Ming Liang  seven (!) couples had their wedding party/reception yesterday, five of them during the afternoon section of our activities. We had so many brides and grooms coming and going that the restaurant seemed  like a wedding factory. And each time they left....to enter their "flower car" (see final photos) a large group of  youthful friends had a competition to see who could spray the most people with canned liquid confetti....and who could make the most noise with fireworks.
Which is why our 50 promotion children  got more than their share of entertainment....at one stage engaging in a friendly fight with the confetti sprayers, our children's weapon being a  provocative song.  And....each time a couple entered/emerged, the three CAS office ladies running the promotion understandably ran to catch a glimpse of the lovely couple, leaving 50 pairs of legs jumping ever closer to the main window through which we saw all the outside action.   The Christmas Card game -  confetti/fireworks version
