2006-12-21  Christmas meal for migrant worker families (130 rubbish collectors) who live where Assisi Center is located......for some of them, the recent arrivals,  their first ever meal in a canteen/restaurant (anywhere....Henan or Zhaoqing), for most of them, their second ever meal in a canteen - the first being this time last year in Zhaoqing.  They usually eat only noodles....can't afford rice.....so a rice meal is something very special and very serious....not something to go slowly on!   Thank you Hung Yuen Restaurant owner Mr Zhang and team for allowing us to come and for your wonderful hospitality. Thank you Nicole and Mandy for all the arrangements. Thank you kind policeman who transported our gifts and fruit in his police car.....and thank you kind regular customer of Hung Yuen who got his chauffeur to drive Nicole and me back to Ricci School with left over gifts and fruit. A very happy night.  DG!
